Journal: "Signifying Nothing" - What does Life mean, anyway?

For this journal, reflect on how Macbeth approaches the meaning of life and the human experience here on earth before inevitable death. He uses analogies he's familiar with - that of the "player" and "stage". What metaphor would YOU use?

- I use a paintbrush and a canvas. Each person has their own paintbrush. The shape of their brush can be same or different. Some people create their own paint, or borrow some paint, or some people may use their blood to fill the canvas. The canvas can be filled up or it can be empty spots. There could be some people that didn't even complete their canvas and let the paintbrush go. The canvas can be torn up and damaged. However, every canvas will be different and all of them will have their own meaning. Every art piece is special.

He feels pretty hopeless about the meaninglessness of it all ("signifying nothing")....how do YOU feel? Write about what you hope you or others get out of life. What is your approach to living in the short time we have?

- I think there is nothing meaning less in this world. A small thing can seem nothing to me because people easily think in their personal view, but it can be a big step for humanity. It can be only meaningful to a single person too. Life is full of doubt. There are some doubts that has an answer, but there are much more that we cannot even understand. The small lessons that I learn, the facts that I remember, the pictures that I draw in my unconsciousness will make my day. The thought that what I am doing or watching now will cause an impact in my or other's life makes me to think what should I do. My approach is to just live if I can. I don't have to run too fast until I fall down. I can rest and walk and turn around some times but it doesn't matter because I don't know what will be in front of me. The time will make a solution or an answer what I have to do.
